Yes. The team is reachable on WhatsApp at +62 811 3877 007, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm Bali time. Message outside those hours and we will reply the next working morning. For anything involving dates, crew or a full quote, the Booking's Form is still the fastest route, it gives us the detail we need to come back with a real plan rather than a rough answer.

What is Lyre's booking process from enquiry to shoot day?

Accepted Answer

Three simple steps. 1) Review our studios on the site and pick one or multiple you'd like to shoot in. 2) Submit the Booking's Form with as much detail as you can, and let us know if you need a creative director, photographer or filmer, we can recommend the right people. 3) Our team qualifies the project and gets back to you within 48 hours. If it isn't a fit, we'll tell you why and try to adjust the plan so it works.

Can I book more than one studio for a single shoot?

Yes. Our Booking's Form lets you select one or multiple studios in the same booking. Pick every space that could work for your shoot and we'll help you plan the flow between them.

Can Lyre recommend a creative director, photographer or filmer?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In step 3 of the brief you can tell us what creative support you need, director, photographer, filmer or stylist, and our team will introduce trusted collaborators from our network. Already have your team? Just tell us and we'll focus on the studio side.

How do I book a studio at Lyre?

Start with our Booking's Form on the Book page. It's a short, guided form that captures your project type, preferred studio, dates and any add-ons. We reply personally, usually within one business day, with availability and a clear plan.

What are your studio rates?

Accepted Answer

Studio 1 Cyclorama: IDR 1.5M hourly, IDR 5M half day (4 hours), IDR 8M full day (8 hours), 1 hour minimum. Studio 2 Underwater Tank: IDR 2.5M hourly, IDR 8.5M half day, IDR 13.5M full day, 1 hour minimum. Studio 3 Rain Room: IDR 3.5M hourly, IDR 11.5M half day, IDR 19.5M full day, 2 hour minimum. How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

Two to four weeks is comfortable, and gives us time to lock props, crew and catering around your call sheet. We do take short-notice bookings when the calendar allows, so it's always worth asking.

Can I book by the hour, half day or full day?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cyclorama and Underwater Tank book from a 1 hour minimum. Rain Room has a 2 hour minimum because of the water setup and safety requirements. For anything over four hours the half day and full day rates work out better value.

Question 9

Do you take a deposit? How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

A deposit confirms your date and the remainder is due before the shoot. We'll send a clear quote and invoice with payment instructions. If your production requires a specific finance workflow, tell us in the brief and we'll adapt.

What's included with every booking?

Every studio comes with a dedicated studio assistant, base lighting kit specific to that studio, an iPad for reference, a film cart and access to our Coffee Shop & Lounge. Studio-specific gear is listed on each studio page.

How do I know which studio is right for my project?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Cyclorama for clean, edge-free fashion, product or commercial work. Choose the Underwater Tank for weightless, otherworldly imagery. Choose the Rain Room for storm, music video, drama or anything that needs weather on cue. If you're not sure, describe the idea in your brief and we'll recommend the best fit.

Can I book more than one studio on the same day?

Accepted Answer

Yes, subject to availability. Multi-studio days are common for campaigns that need variety in a single shoot. Flag it in your brief so we can sequence the schedule and crew properly.

Can I visit the studios before booking?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Recce visits are welcome by appointment so you can walk the space, check dimensions and plan lighting. Get in touch to book a time.

What are the underwater tank's specifications?

Accepted Answer

The tank is 2.5m tall and 3.7m long, built from marine-grade colour-accurate acrylic and holds 15,000L of water. Overhead rigging carries Bluetooth-controlled RGB lights, and a bone-conducting device lets you communicate with the model underwater.

Is the underwater tank safe for models and talent?

Yes. Working in a controlled tank is safer and more repeatable than open water. We provide bone-conducting comms so the director can guide the model in real time, and we can coordinate freediving safety support on request.

Do you provide wetsuits, cameras or underwater housings?

Accepted Answer

The tank booking includes base lighting, stands and comms. Underwater housings, cameras, wetsuits and freediver support can be arranged as add-ons through our production network. Tell us your setup in the brief and we'll put a quote together.

How much control do I have over the rain?

Accepted Answer

Rain Room has 5 pipes feeding the ceiling and clamped storm lighting, so intensity and coverage can be dialled to the shot. The 60cm floodable floor doubles as a pool, and the space runs as a white-out or a blacked-out studio.

Can I hang heavy set pieces in the Rain Room?

Yes. Rain Room includes a Bluetooth-controlled hoist rated to 600kg, plus a custom projector bracket for projecting onto the background or the pool.

What should wardrobe and talent expect in the Rain Room?

Accepted Answer

Plan for wet conditions and bring changes for talent. Waterproof cases for electronics are recommended. We provide towels and there's a changing area on-site; our team will brief safety and drainage on the day.

Is the cyclorama a true seamless coving?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cyclorama is a purpose-built seamless cove, so you shoot with no edges to break the composition. High rigging carries props and lighting, and there's an in-studio changing room with a make-up kidney table.

Can the cyclorama be repainted for my shoot?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in the right circumstances. Custom colour and repainting is quoted per project because it affects drying time and the following day's schedule. Flag it in your brief and we'll plan it in.

Can I project onto the cyclorama?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we've built a dedicated bracket for a projector to sit in when you rent one. It's a fast way to add motion, texture or in-camera VFX to a still or moving-image shoot.

What lighting do you have in-house?

Our in-house rental inventory includes RGB tube and panel lights, large and medium soft-boxes, octabox modifiers, continuous LED daylight heads, strobe kits with triggers, and ring and beauty-dish lighting. Anything specialist we can source through our production network.

Do you have props and backdrops on-site?

Yes. We keep a curated collection of seating, surfaces, backdrops, textures, set dressing, grip and support items available across all three studios. If you need something we don't have, we can help source or build it.

Can Lyre provide the crew for my shoot?

Yes. We connect you with top-tier local and international production talent, from photographers, DOPs and gaffers to stylists, HMUA and producers. Share your call sheet needs in the brief and we'll build the crew around it.

Do you handle catering and craft?

Our Coffee Shop & Lounge covers coffee and light bites for smaller crews. For full-day shoots and larger productions we arrange catering through trusted partners; tell us numbers and dietary needs in the brief.

Can you custom-build props or sets for our concept?

Yes. Our in-house prop and engineering team (led by Pak Hendar, with Pak Yono and Pak Mono) can design and build bespoke sets, structures and props. Send references and dimensions in the brief and we'll come back with a plan.

Can my crew use the Coffee Shop & Lounge?

Yes, it's open to your crew and clients during your booking. It's a comfortable place to prep before the call sheet starts, take breaks between setups and decompress once you wrap. Outdoor seating is available on request.

In many cases, yes. Natural light pours in at certain hours and the space earns its keep on camera. It's typically added as part of a booking rather than shot alone; ask us about times and availability.

How does load-in and load-out work?

We'll walk you through vehicle access, parking and load-in doors during your recce or on the pre-shoot call. A studio assistant is on-site every booking to help direct crew and gear.

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?

Accepted Answer

Deposits secure your date. Rescheduling is usually possible with reasonable notice, subject to availability. Full cancellation terms are set out in your booking confirmation and follow the site Terms.

Who owns the footage and images shot at Lyre?

You do. We provide the space, kit and crew; the creative work you produce belongs to your production. Any use of Lyre Studios' own imagery, logos or spaces for your marketing is welcome, we'd just love a credit.

Do I need production insurance?

Accepted Answer

Productions are responsible for damage to the studio and rented gear during their booking. Third-party production insurance is strongly recommended for shoots involving significant gear, talent or fabrication. Ask us if you need guidance.
